The i-SYNC, i-DOCK and BS-1 are LAYEN's premium 30pin Bluetooth music receivers, which are used to make your docking station Bluetooth so that you can stream music from your phone, mp3 player or tablet wirelessly.

These are products are exclusive LAYEN products and come complete with instructions on the back of the packaging. They are simple and quick to use. If you want to know how they work or have lost your instructions, please see below:

  1. Turn the docking station on and connect the i-SYNC securely to the 30pin connector.
  2. The i-SYNC will automatically enter pairing mode. It will start to flash red and blue intermittently.
  3. Keep the i-SYNC and your Bluetooth device close together whilst you are trying to pair (no more than 1m apart from each other). Once paired you can use them up to 10m apart.
  4. Enable the Bluetooth function on your device and search for Bluetooth devices within range. Select i-SYNC from the list of devices displayed.
  5. If prompted by your device to connect, select yes. This will vary according to the device being used.
  6.  If asked for a password, enter '000' and confirm.
  7. Pairing time is quick, but please allow up to 1 minute. Again this will vary according to which device is being used.
  8. After successful connection the i-SYNC will slowly flash blue.
  9. You are now ready to stream your music wirelessly. Please make sure that the volume is up on the both your device and the docking station.
  10. If the receiver doesn't power up / the lights don't flash, please make sure you dock is connected at the mains and not running from a battery.
  11. If you are having trouble pairing please reset the Bluetooth in your device, to forget all other devices. Turn both the dock and your device off and then re-start the process. If you have any other Bluetooth devices that have been or are trying to connect to the BS-1 you will also need to delete these from the respective Bluetooth devices lists - as they will be confusing it and preventing you from pairing with the BS-1.
  12. If you can pair, but no sound is coming out (and the volume is up both on your dock and your device) it is likely that it is incompatible.   Please see our troubleshooting guide for more information. You may need to exchange for an Aux Bluetooth Receiver

You need to exchange this for the I-DOCK or I-SYNC - either of which will work with the later version Bose 1.  Need more info?  Read Which Bose 1 do I have?
